Hi Maureen,

I'm all for pretty pics and nice music too. Don't get out and about to all those exotic destinations though.

Suppose I should be out with the camera more, even if it's only local stuff.

Could be an excuse for a macro lens,so that's got me thinking.

A pretty pics and music is on the cards then, but I might just squeeze another one of this type in.

Course it's not a 'Proper'Av,but it keeps me out of trouble and keeps me amused.

Thanks for the comments.

Am expecting a raft of Lakeland Lass AVs soon.

Regards,

Davy

I was about to upload one today to Beechbrook but I see Bill is away until mid-July so it can wait. I think that'll be it for a while though; haven't really got anything in mind for another.

Hi Folks,

I have to hold my hands up and admit that for me, up to now, the photography has been the key. I get the photos in the right order, so that the context and colours blend as best I can get. Then I simply look for a piece of 'appropriate' classical music. Clearly it depends on the audience and sometimes the audience is just the author and immediate family. Other times the audience are members of a camera club - who are more interested in the quality of the photography - and as long as the music or sound is pleasing and appropriate - they are happy to have it as a backdrop to the photos.

However: as others have mentioned (above) much more can be done to use the music and sound to link more directly, and even subliminally, to the photography.
