Ted Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 Just to say after trying many - have now got Audio Converter. At first thought it was the same, but after configuring, it works fine. Thanks again to all who replied. Ted Quote
mannybr2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 It seems to me that this Audio Converter you mentioned is different than the one that I just downloaded: Super Audio Converter. As I looked for the Audio Converter, the one that showed first is Super Audio converter and I installed it and tested to create an OGG for the first time. It worked but up to 60% of the song only because it is not registered. But I think it doesn't have a days of usefulness limit of say 30 days, not like the other Audio Converter which is suggested here. This Super Audio Converter can still be useful for making unfinished samples of music for demonstration purposes only. But it's very quick in doing its work, so sometime later I might decide to register it as it is capable of converting many formats of music files. I just didn't check if it can also rip and burn like what the simple Audio Converter is capable to do. Quote
Ted Posted September 5, 2003 Author Report Posted September 5, 2003 Manny - not sure about Super Audio Converter, but this one seems ok. It does remind me to buy full version, from time to time, but so far works the full length of file. Maybe it will self destruct after 15 days? Ted Quote
Guest guru Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 I think the best Ogg (and not only Ogg) converter is dBpowerAMP Music Converter (free), that uses the original Vorbis engine. Quote
