LCraker Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I doing PTE as a self run slide show on disk. I have been using Autorun.inf to call for the *.exe file.:example:[autorun]open=hmt\HMT.exewhere htm in the directory and HTM.exe is the PTE file. This has worked great for 2 years then win XP came along. XP finds the *.exe file and plays it autorun also runs the file creating a double run. This is disasterous with music in the background.Anyone got a solution or work around? Thanks muchLeewww.leecraker.com Quote
Michel Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 hmt/hmt.exe ?Try to change the name of the directory which I think should be different.example: Otherdirectory/hmt.exe Quote
marian Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 It has been running great for 2 years??I think you should recompile the program in Win XP to take advantage of the updated OS. Do you also have an older version of Pic2Exe?Something is "amiss" here. Quote
Guest guru Posted December 23, 2002 Report Posted December 23, 2002 Sure there is something wrong... But I guess XP is "amiss"! Quote
LumenLux Posted December 23, 2002 Report Posted December 23, 2002 I don't know if this is the causal problem, but I think you would be safer to have all your files in the root directory of your cd. Quote
