Ken, unless I don't understand your request, it already exists :

Create > AVI File... > Create custom avi video file > Video Codec > select the DIVX codec in the drop-down list

Of course, you can choose DIVX only if the codec is already installed on your computer. :)

guess i forgot about that one because it never used to work for me and i have to use a third party conversion -- Hawk and i have been playing with divx for quite a few years -- he had some success, but i was not so lucky

still wont make it using the divx codec - hangs up after 39 secs using 5.7 b1
