Guest Yachtsman1 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Hopefully more refined this time, still low res pictures 1024x768. 19.3MB size, runs for 12 minutes. Mediafire download http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=8ad124354296d6c7ab1eab3e9fa335cac2ab62ffa0ebaa8fFor those who viewed Gable Gardner & Grant, the missing music title was the score for Barefoot Contessa, the show had a still with Bogart, Rossani Brazzi who played Emile Dubeque in the film South Pacific, which I had the privaledge of seeing at the Manchester Opera house with the origina American cast in 1952 and starred Mary Martin who was JR of Dallas fames real life mother, and the corpse of Ava Gardner? Had to dig deep for that one.Yachtsman1 Quote

Guest Yachtsman1 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Thanks Ken we aim to please.Incidentally, the problem I had with scrolling text in the new forum layout has suddenly gone away in the last couple of days. The smileys have disappeared from the R/H side of the page so the text operates as normal. Still have the slow opening of pages, which I can put up with.Regards EricYachtsman1 Quote
Lin Evans Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Hi Eric,Excellent job! It brings back lots of memories. I will have to chase down a couple of these at our local video rental store and see them again. Recently, I saw Casa Blanca, but haven't seen African Queen or the Maltese Falcon since the 50's. Best regards,Lin Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Thanks LinMaybe you should live in the UK, most of the old classics are repeated on TV regularly. This afternoon on film four Freeview there is a Cagney film I don't recall "Blood on the Sun" with Sylvia Sydney circa 1945, gets a 3 star rating so I will either record or view live.Regards EricYachtsman1 Quote
