Here is a very "light" slideshow to make you smile I hope.

I tried to be creative and to make something different and entertaining.

I hope you will watch it to the end without to hit the ESC key. :)

I can hardly imagine a classic slideshow with the same pictures. I'm afraid it would be very boring.

You know, it's the casual pictures we all take of our friends and family... but we like to share them anyway.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks.

This slideshow is still in progress, even if the main ideas are already included.

To make the flowers, I used Saru's Flower Ding font you can download here on dafont.com.

I like to use fonts. It gives more flexibility than .png images because you can change the color of your symbols directly within PTE.

To see what this animation looks like, please download the demo (exe file) for a much better quality compared to the video.

Hi Dom,

Very good ideas. You say it is a work in progress so take for what it is worth - I found the 'clouds' transitions out of place.

Keep it up!

Hi Dom

Another great effect, I agree with all the comments thus far, very well done, another innovative step for mankind.

Hi Dom,

I can only follow the others.

Beautiful slideshow with nice effects and lucky music.

Exactly the correct for a family with children.

Me would make happy, already become a template of this nice show.

Thanks

I 've got the feeling with this slideshow that, even the ones who are not fund of animation, will like it.

It’s not that I don’t like animation; I don’t like watching poorly done animation.

Dom, that was just great, and hopes your photographic subjects appreciate this show as much as I did, I would love to see the high res original.

I think it shows what can be done, when animation is thought out, well planned and applied, it ‘adds’ something to the show.

I think beginners sometimes fall into the trap of putting an effect in, because they feel that they have too, because it’s there.

What your show does, is give interest to a specialist subject, that is possibly more important to you, as you know the subjects, then it is to the audience, and yet somehow leave us thinking wow, can we have some more, would love to know how that was done etc. I did notice the 3d effect on the flowers, and to include a ‘ray tracing’ effect made it look natural.

Again you ring all the right bells with the show duration and slide timings, sufficient time to see and digest each image, but not so long as to lose attention.

Music matched the subject perfectly, really nice and punchy. Fantastic show, thanks for all of the effort, and thanks for sharing it with us, made me smile :D
