Guest Yachtsman1
Hi PeterIt may just be a coincidence but when did you install SP2? Our club projector suddenly started displaying odd colour variations. After much fiddling around it was found that it was due to sp2 being installed on the club laptop and re-setting the colour display mode without being asked to. Could this be another instance of MS bringing out a patch without testing it fully, as previously on SP3 on XP.I have asked a similar question on another thread.Regards EricYachtsman1
fh1805
Eric,I've had SP2 installed on both the lap-top and desk-top systems since mid-October and no evidence of any problem attributable to it.I found this bug purely by chance whilst working on the Rubik's Cube project. I intended to zero-ise the Rotate field but inadvertently selected the Zoom field just above it. The rest, as they say, is history. I realized what I had done and repeated the actions to see if the problem was re-creatable - and it was. So I then tried the same steps in a new project. Same result. Finally ran PTE v5.6.4 and got the same again. It's a bug that most folks would never find but I recall TheDom was asking recently for PTE to be able to blur images. It can - but not in a controllable manner! The blur doesn't survive after you close the O&A window.regards,Peter
thedom
Just FYI, I can reproduce the problem too (vista sp2).I'm afraid we have to wait unitl Igor's back. Fortunately it's a major issue as the "blur" disappears as soon as you close and reopen the O/A window.
