burn a cd instead of a dvd

can anyone point me to a page that describes (in simple language) what the options are in the video builder?

I would like to burn a cd instead of a dvd -is this possible? (I only need 30meg.)

PTE-VideoBuilder does not burn CDs - only DVDs. In any case, you cannot play video through a DVD player-TV set from off a CD. If you want to play a PTE sequence through a computer from off a CD just copy the .exe file onto the CD as you would with any other data file on a data CD.

Before VB came along and dvd burners we made VCD's with a temporary file and imported it into Roxio or Nero burner program and played them on dvd/tv set ups

Some software will still let you burn a CD in SVCD format, which is close to the quality of DVD. But with DVD media so cheap now and fewer players supporting VCD or SVCD format, why do you want to burn to CD?
