denwell Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 I've just completed a long sequence using several sections, made separately, and copied together and finally saved in v6.0.3. The resulting .exe is giving me this error message at the end of the sequence - which otherwise runs fine."PteShow ExeFile Version Mismatch myshow.exe"Can anyone explain simply how to get around this one - I can't see anything relevant through a forum search?I understood this may have appeared using version 6 betas. fh1805 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Den, Do you have a sequence chained off a slide elsewhere in this sequence? This is the error message that you get if you try and do Run Slideshow or Run Slideshow with Return and the two sequences are built using different versions of PTE. Chained or menu-triggered sequences that use "Run Slideshow..." must be built using the exact same version of PTE.regards,Peter Quote
denwell Posted March 14, 2010 Author Report Posted March 14, 2010 Got it in one Peter!Somewhere inside was a 'run slideshow' command which ,as you say, caused the error message.Job done! Quote
