coopernatural Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 All,Uploaded an AV to Mediafire, ‘Some rain must fall’ http://www.mediafire.com/?4jydygtwzdyI was going to leave posting, but my pc is playing up and may need rebuilt.Different styles in colour and mono, sharing a theme of sadness. So if you are feeling down or depressed, best not to watch it.Warning downloaded /manipulated Google images with a melancholy theme. If any of that upsets you (and it should), don’t download. Now where's those Kleenex.Davy Quote
dpletts Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 Davy,Wow! Incredibly emotional. I loved it!Thought some of your morphs were spot on. It looks as though you put a lot of thought into it.David P Quote
Ken Cox Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 Davypretty heavy great collection and compositionken Quote
coopernatural Posted April 18, 2010 Author Report Posted April 18, 2010 David,Spent some time with the images/alignment etc.Mixing landscape and portrait dosn't always work too well, but came up with a raindrop background for the verticals which looked marginally better, but not great.Glad you liked.Ken,Yes,pretty heavy. It's not all sun out there.Davy Quote
Don Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Hi Davy,Good job. The alignments and blending came off quite nicely. The music complemented the visuals well. Yes, some rain must fall into all our lives. But as George Harrison and others have noted... .Thanks for the nice piece.Don Quote

Hope you soon get your PC sorted.Maureen Quote
coopernatural Posted April 19, 2010 Author Report Posted April 19, 2010 Don,I forgot to mention the music that was used.It was by Secret Garden and the title...Sometimes when it rains.Nearly missed your link to the George Harrison Vid.(seen Geoff Lynne in there too)Great stuff.David,Some don't like the mixing of verticals and horizontals.I tried portraits without a background, but it did look better to me with the raindrop background.A sort of pseudo landscape that dosen't jar the eyes as much.If I could have had all the pics in landscape that would have been better.Maureen,I might have a few more sad pics of me crying,to add to this AV if the computer packs up.Thanks for all the feedback.Davy Quote
LumenLux Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Davy, your excellent presentation amplifies both the powerful music and photography. Well done. Quote
coopernatural Posted April 23, 2010 Author Report Posted April 23, 2010 Lumenlux,Thanks for your comments.Have tried a couple of times to leave a reply, but they have been lost in the great internet ether.Davy Quote
trailertrash Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 I waited a while to reply to this one Davy. Its very very good, and it certainly pulls at the heart strings. No child should be in distress [well no-one should really]. They should be out playing and having fun.Andrew. Quote
jfa Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Davy I finally got around to viewing your AV and I am glad I did.Very moody, emotional show with some wonderful matching of the images. Another very high standard show, just what we have come to expect from you.Thanks. Quote
coopernatural Posted April 27, 2010 Author Report Posted April 27, 2010 Andrew,Mark and John,Thanks for your comments.Course i'm only stringing others fine images into an AV.It does make me think about their work and why some images work better than others.Hopefully some of this will help me with own images.Davy Quote
