Excellent Mark. For some reason my favourite is the trees perched on the avalanche edge. Love that one.

Yes, a very impressive collection of photos. I like the abstract nature of many of them. I also feel that they wouldn't be anything like as dramatic in colour.

Food for thought for someone just getting into photography at the moment. (me )

Thank you all for your feedback. As a 'well meaning amateur' I have found that mono work can often bring out textures and depth.

BTW, all my web sites are down, following the collapse of the UK hosting provider 'Weycrest'. I am actively seeking out new hosts.
