Guest Yachtsman1 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 The original 15 minute show was created in 2009 and contains a history of the cathedral including pieces on such alumni as St Wilfred, William the Conquerer, Charles Ludwig Dodgson (Lewis Carrol) & Wilfred Owen, the First World War poet.It is too long for the likes of the forum so I thought I would produce a taster for the show in the form of a trailer, this version has only two pieces of music, no voice over. However, as with my last show Jervaulx Abbey, a number of the images were in portrait which I have taken the decision not to crop, but to animate. Which means there is more animation than my usual current work.Mechanics 11.43mb 4m 40s run time. 5-4 format 1280x1024 fixed. Mediafire download.PS forgot to mention, used one of my wife's pictures (pulpit close up) taken with a Nikon D40 with an 18-55 lens.http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=bd71c0c5945c98f0b823165ba7c5554faf739b66eb25b89c851944f5f8f49a6c2813da10877881410c7ccb84b852b1b5Yachtsman1 Quote
trailertrash Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Eric, I so enjoyed that. I love Ripon. Used to stay at a caravan site at Clitheroe Farm [just beyond 39 Engineer Regt], when I visited my son there.Ripon Cathedral is a stunning venue and you certainly brought back some wonderful memories for me. The photography was pretty good to.Andrew Quote
