8321 Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 Hello all,Could someone please help me. I am using 6.5 Beta 8.I want to add subtitles to selected slides. I made a black slide and added text in white. Saved it as text.png.In O&A I added a Mask container with text.png in the mask, at the top of the stack of other images that fade in and out during the duration of the slide. These other images are not in the Mask container. With "Play" in O&A the text shows up perfectly (white) and everything looks OK. Close O&A and the text has vanished when I do a "Preview". Odd?Thanks a lot,Jeff Quote
Igor Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 Jeff,Please upload a sample project to show this problem. Also it's highly recommended to use latest available beta release (Beta 13) before submit a bug report. Probably an issue already resolved. Quote
8321 Posted July 28, 2010 Author Report Posted July 28, 2010 Thanks for the offer, Igor.I don't think it is a bug because I get the same result with vanilla 6.0 release.I am doing something silly. Will fiddle about a bit more before posting a sample.Regards, Jeff Quote
Igor Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Probably it's a bug. Please send me a project file with one slide. Quote

thedom Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Hi Jeff, I downloaded your project, may be I missed something in you explanation but I don't understand what you tried to make with this text mask. There is no image in the mask container. The point of a mask is to reveal an image through this mask. You don't see your title when you preview the show because there is no image to reveal. What you see in the O/A are the transparent pixels which materialize the mask.I added an image in your mask container to show you what I mean.I hope it helps.test_Jul28-2010_11-36-14.zip Quote
