I have noticed that the fade out (I use 15 seconds) seems to fade a bit too quick right in the last second or two of the fade. It just isn't quite a sweet as the fade we get with Audacity and it sort of ends a little too abruptly, especially if you listen with headphones. Can it be made to fade out a bit better. It seems to need a linear fade to start, but a slow down at the end, if that is possible.

I agree. I believe that what is required is an exponentional (possibly a logarithmic) fade rather than a linear fade so that the quiter end of the fade fades at a slower rate than at the start of the fade. The converse should apply for a fade in.

Hello,

I agree with this remark.

I was so pleased with the new approch of PTE

regarding sound. The value of PTE has made a jump.

But IMHO fade out is useless now. I'm forced to

work again with Audacity and spend a lot of work and time.

I hoped that more users have this remark and I even don't understand the

low reaction in the forum. A basic sound editing in PTE is fantastic but it should work.

please more reaction!

Best Regards,
