Photofanatic
Is it OK to uninstall earlier versions of PTE when the latest version has been downloaded/updated?ThanksJoy
fh1805
Joy,Yes, you can if you wish. Older PTE project files can be opened in a newer version - but not vice versa! But, apart from taking up some space on the disk drive, it does no harm to leave them co-existing with one another. The choice is yours.regards,Peter
nobeefstu
Joy,Adding to Peter's post ... Its wise to keep the previous versions installed until after the newer version is installed and tested to be fully working and fully functional. Once your satisfied ... its then your choice to remove any older versions if you have no need to use it again. If you have VideoBuilder KeyTest the VideoBuilder and verify the key registration is still valid for the newer installed version. If the VideoBuilder key registration has expired for the new version ... you will need to keep your previous version installed to be able to use VideoBuilder features or otherwise you will need to renew/purchase another VideoBuilder key.
