trailertrash Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 France...my favourite place to visit. I just got back from Eperleques after a great visit there.I recognise the Omaha beach sculpture. Hope you had a good holiday.Andrew Quote
David Porter Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I really enjoyed the show Mark, especially the black and white photos. Two lessons to be learned from your show - 1)get up early, 2) think B&W before taking the photo. Quote

Almark Posted September 14, 2010 Author Report Posted September 14, 2010 Thanks all for the feedback. Davy I did this one the other way around, to my usual approach. I found the music first! Maybe you are right ;-) Quote
Almark Posted September 16, 2010 Author Report Posted September 16, 2010 One of the points highlighted at my camera club was the tilt-able screen that the SONY NEX-5 offers. For example:_DSC0072 by Mark_Allen, on Flickr]With bare feet I was able to walk into the rocks and pools and simply bend down and using the tilt - able scren compose my image. With my D700 it could have been done, but it would have been much harder to do. Quote
dpletts Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Hi Mark,Loved the show - some super abstract shapes and textures. Great stuff.Cheers,David P Quote
