This magnificent garden is situated in the grounds of Arundel Castle, West Sussex. It was opened up by HRH the Prince of Wales

on 14th May 2008.

The garden is a light-hearted tribute to Thomas Howard, 14th Earl of Arundel, known as "The Collector". It has been designed by

Isabel and Julian Bannerman and has been conceived as a Jacobean formal garden. It is in fact an imaginative re-creation of what

the "Collector" Earl's formal garden may have been like at Arundel House, his town palace overlooking the Thames in London.

Hope you enjoy this short presentation.

George, Ken and Rick,

Thank you for your kind comments. Really enjoyed the day we spent there and as you said, Ken, the gardens are immaculate and well maintained.
