keewellman
I am sure there is a very simple way to do this but what I have tried doesn't work!I click on an image in the Slide list, hit Control X, move up to the place I want to Paste the image, click on it and hit Control V. Doesn't work. I get a blank black slide instead. What should I be doing?
keewellman
Further, when I right click on the slide, there is no option for Cut, just Copy and paste.
Guest Yachtsman1
Have you tried dragging it?Yachtsman1
keewellman
Yes, and in some circumstances that works. If I have a large number of files and I need to have them large enough to tell what each one is, I would have to keep taking it to top or bottom of the slides showing on the screen, move it up further, and then further again. Cut and paste would be much easier! It shows in the list of keyboard shortcuts that Control X and Control V should do just that. Don't see how to get it to work though. fh1805
Try View|Fullscreen View... and use the slider to set the size of the image thumbnails, then use normal Windows selection (Click, Shift+Click, Ctrl+Click) to select what you want and then use Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, or Ctrl+V as you would in any other Windows application - or drag and rop (which is even easier)regards,Peter
keewellman
As I'm not able to get the normal Windows keyboard shortcuts to work I guess I have no choice but to resize the images each time I need to move one and then do a drag and drop and do another resize all the images. As I said, using the shortcuts mentioned gives me a copy and it isn't where I want it to go. I could just do a copy and paste and then delete the one from the old location. Is there some keyboard setting that might be preventing me from doing a cut and paste? fh1805
Using the Fullscreen view you can drag and drop to your hearts content. Copy and Paste and then Delete the original selections. It is just like using a lightbox in the old days. And I find that I can bring the slider all the way over to the left and can still identify the images from the little thumbnails - and that gives me about 300 images on view at one time.regards,Peter
keewellman
Thanks, Peter!I guess my eyesight just isn't as good as yours! I do agree that the drag and drop works!
