music finishes after images

why is it that the small window 'time indicator' says 13.32 minutes whilst the music lasts 28 minutes and the 'sync music & images ' is ticked? -d is the small window supposed to be identical to the large preview show?

The time you see in the mini-player always is the overall display time of all slides, not the time of the music. For the preview and exe-files you may choose the show setting "When show ends, keep last slide on screen".

To add a bit more information to Xaver's comment:

If you want to make the images and songs end at the same time, you can do so by clicking on the "Timeline" then when the blue waveform has completed loading, click on "Timed Points" then "Arrange All Points." Doing this will equally spread the slides along the music so that they end together. Each slide will stay on screen for an equal time duration.
