Default folder for .pte files

I am using PTE 6.5 and I would like to set it so that the project file is stored in a folder of my choice as default.

It is difficult to see how this work work in view of the widely held belief that everything related to an individual project should be in ONE folder.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that the entire project should be in one folder. I want to set a different folder to be the default folder that PTE saves the project in. Now it automatically goes to c:\users\owner\documents.

DO A SAVE AS AND DIRECT IT TO THE FOLDER YOU WISH TO SAVE IT IN

as Dave said you should have all your picts music notes in a "named folder" within a main folder

my main folder is

D:\P2E SHOWS - d 1pictures WORKING FOLDER

and

a specific project is

D:\P2E SHOWS - d 1pictures WORKING FOLDER\kids calendar collection

all the pictures music notes etc are within a folder called

kids calendar collection

and in there all the picts are in folders by year
