landsberger
Hi allThis may be a very stupid question but I'm asking anyway. On all my systems everything is set to open with a single mouse click. In Pte 7 I can select a drive and Pictures folder in the file tree with a single click and then the file list is displayed as thumbnails or details in the next window. When opening one of these I have to double-click the folder thumbnail to open it and see the actual contents of the folder. However to select an image in the opened folder it only needs a single-click.Is there any way to make everything work with just a single click?RegardsJohn Perth WA

Guest Yachtsman1
Hi John With that setting, what happens when you only want to select the item, not open it? Or do you switch between single & double click settings. Yachtsman1.Think I answered my own question, didn't notice it also said "Point to Select", must go to spec savers

Yachtsman1.Think I answered my own question, didn't notice it also said "Point to Select", must go to spec savers Hi YachtsmanI had to think about that and check it before I replied! What happens in explorer is that an item is highlighted when the mouse pointer is on it, then the single click opens it. I have to help a friend with his computer he uses double-click and it drives me crazy when nothing happens with a single click!RegardsJohn
Conflow
Hi John,That selection is a "Windows-Folder Function" where the user selects the appropriate Mouse behaviour to their own personal choice.(See attachment)Brian (Conflow)
