as an attachment, but you will probably find now that a lot of users have this type of attachment blocked, so your best bet is to either zip it, or rar it (winzip, or winrar), unless of course you know the reciever will be able to recieve .exe files

another option is to change the file extension "exe" to something else; the recipient is told to change it back to "exe" once he has filed it in his computer.

from one of my earlier answers

normal email attachment size is < 4mb -- due to the way a mail program functions it adds "overhead" so the resulting email and file is likely close to 5.5 mb

so if you have an exe in a zip > than 4 mb it will not likely be sent -- it depends on your isp's leniency
