aplman Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 I would like to suggest that a separate forum section be set up for discussion of beta versions of PTE. There have been so many different comments/bugs/suggestions covered in one topic - it seems to me to be unwieldy. Within a PTE Beta sub-forum, it would be much nicer to see each matter as a separate topic.Ken T (APLman) Quote
Igor Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 I agree. But we will release version 7.0 probably already today. I'll create separate sub-forum for the following beta version (7.1 or 7.5). Quote

Glad you liked my idea!Best Regards ... and thank you for a giant leap forward with PTE 7.0.Ken T (APLman) Quote
Ken Cox Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 KEN when was pte not in betaIgor no sooner publishes the final and they start another beta ken Quote
davegee Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Ken,If I understand KEN correctly seperating the queries for a PUBLISHED version and BETA versions might not be a bad idea.Differentiating between new and pre-existing problems might not be easy though.DG Quote
Ken Cox Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Daveit would practically impossible - when things get going somebody is always referring to a previous versionthen there are those that only visit on a hit and miss basis and wonder what happened to such and such feature -- this program is changing on a monthly basis and people have to follow the forum daily to keep up with all our thoughtsit would help if there were more entries to the "IDEAS SECTION" - not entered into an ongoing thread - IMHO that would help tremendously -- Igor would answer there and people would have an idea what is going on or planned features ken Quote
