vilara,

PTE currently does not offer any additional video-sound controls. This is most likely to be added/addressed in some future releases as the video component development evolves.

Although it is not yet possible to adjust sound in your video directly yet (fade-in, fade-out, use sound envelope, etc.) there is a viable work-around. If you extract the sound from your video as an MP3 (use the freeware Xmedia Recode) you can then insert the extracted audio track as normal sound in the audio track, "mute" the video and adjust sound using all the audio features now available.

If you don't have this software you are welcome to download it from my site on this link:

Just use it to extract the audio as an mp3 then follow the procedure outlined above.

Best regards,

Lin

When it integrates video, Pte provides that "Mute" or not. Is it possible to change the volume of the sound of this video?

Thanks for your help. I had not thought to extract the sound of my video. Thanks Lin for the idea.

I think that a future version of PTE should include the possibility of changing the volume of a video.

The following version 7.5 will include advanced tools for manipulations with a sound track of a video clip.

Thank you Igor -- that is very good news indeed, for many of us.

My best wishes for your 7.5 development efforts.
