Clean Start

I am setting up a page (exe) in ver7 with buttons that open exe files to show sequences.

The sequence does not open cleanly i.e. straight to the sequences but flicks through the source file where the

sequence exe files are drawn from.

Am I missing something or is that just the way it is.

Are you using "Run application..." or "Run Slideshow..." actions? And what operating system are you using: XP, Vista or Win 7?

"Run application..." on Vista gave this kind of "flashback" problem. "Run Slideshow..." solves the problem on all operating systems but requires that all the EXE files (menu sequence and all sequences launched from it) be "Published" using the exact same version of PTE.

Have you got all the exe files in the same folder as the menu page folder?

Hi Guys

On the money again Peter.

I am using Win.7 and PTE7.and using 'open application or file'.All file coming from the same folder

Now if I use 'open slideshow and return' the ver7 sequences open fine. all others I have to use 'application or file'

There are also a few 'Proshow'in the list which are a pain at the best of times.
