wdc202
Two questions about navigating the Forum. I don’t see them covered in the pinned FAQs.1. Please tell me how I search for posts that I initiated – Do I search for my login name---wdc202? Or something like “author name wdc202?”2.Where can I find detailed instructions for building a composite image, using layers, of two images -- Image 1 and Image 2-- that are in my C:\my pictures folder? Thanks.
davegee
1. Click on the arrow beside your login name and choose "my content".2. Under the File, Publish etc Menu items you'll see the navigation icon showing C:\ or Z:\ etc. Click on it and navigate to your C:\ My Pictures.Add an image by dragging it from the image pane into the horizontal slide panel at the bottom.Click on "Objects and Animations" Button and you'll see the name of the slide that you added on the Right Hand Side in the Objects Panel.Make sure that it is NOT highlighted by clicking away from it.Right click in the Objects Panel and "ADD" an Image. In the Window that appears navigate to the C:\ My Pictures Folder and click on the image that you want to add.It will appear in the Objects Panel as a new "Layer" over the original image. If the second image is a PNG with transparency you will be able to see through the transparency to the Original Image below. If it is not a PNG you will need to investigate MASKS.Get as far as this and come back with further questions?DG

Thanks. There are manuals for each version of PTE, for instuctions on building composite images check the relavent manual for your version. If it's 7, check wnsofts web site, or search using manual.Yachtsman1Or here http://www.wnsoft.com/picturestoexe/help/

wdc202
DG: Re making a composite ... I am afraid I did not get very far following your instructions. I wonder if my starting screen is the same as yours. All I see is a Tool Bar. And under File I do not see Publish, etc. or a navigation icon showing C:\. Nor do I see an "Objects and Animations" button. Also would you please clarify where I find the "image plane" and the "horizontal slid panel at the bottom." Guest Yachtsman1
I think you should have a close look at the manual, what you want is very basic.Yachtsman1
