Guest Yachtsman1 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Constable Burton Hall is the home of Lord Wyvil in Wensleydale. Each year it hosts a Tulip Festival to raise money for the Church. This show was constructed in 2009 & now converted to wide screen. I class it as bog standard AV, nothing fancy, just pictures & music. The mechanics are, Mediafire download 24MB, 4m 40s run time, 41 slides, 16-9 format.http://www.mediafire.com/?m4fynxdmrz2ael6Yachtsman1. fh1805 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 I wouldn't mind getting along to one of those. It would make a change from daffodils and bluebells. On what dates does that event usually take place, please?Peter Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Hi PeterThe one in the pictures was 3/5/99 according to the exif info, I think it depends on how soon spring arrives, last year they didn't get the daffs until late April. This is the link to their web site. http://constableburton.com/ Beware there is also a Burton Constable as you probably know? which is a completely different place. Dead easy to find, as you drive from Bedale to Leyburn, there is a steep dip & rise with a narrow bridge in the dip about halfway, the entrance is on the right as you climb out of the dip.Regards EricYachtsman1.
