ScreenPrintsSE - Client Packager   v2.0

Special Edition Release 12-20-03

A PTE Utility for Photographers who send out their PTE "Proof Shows" to Clients for review and ordering. Possible uses for other PTE users as well.

ScreenPrintsSE contains ScreenPrints.exe and Client Packager which aids you to quickly build your Client package used by ScreenPrints.exe.

This ScreenPrintsSE.exe requires no installation ... it only creates files that are needed for your Clients ScreenPrints package thats ready to distribute. If using only required forms ... you can make a complete Client Package in less than a minute.

ScreenPrintsSE.exe is the Client Packager.

1-Aids in quickly building all the message forms used for function and display by ScreenPrints.exe

2-Creates New Client content or Edits existing Client content.

3-All the necessary files for Client distribution are created to C:\Client folder. (It copies your PTE Show and it supplies the ScreenPrints.exe there too !)

*You must create your own Logo.bmp (300x85) if used ... and of course your PTE Show is required.

ScreenPrints.exe launches your PTE Show executable.

1-Session 1 provides Photo Capture : enables the "Print Screen" Key for Image capture. Creates and saves the Image as (full screen).jpg to C:\ScreenPrints folder.

2-Session 2 provides Photo Selection : Review of all captured Images.

Viewer has Manual/Advance and Return and Auto Mode/Advance, Delete, Reset and photo count.

3-Session 3 provides Photo Packaging : Review Photo List of Images and add comments if needed, Create a ZIP package and Mail Package. (Does not attach Zip in MAIL for you.)

Others  Additions include :

Your Logo, Your Email, Your WWW, optional Message Windows and more.

*Easy to follow directions and user/program errors detected.

NOTE : ScreenPrints is a Photographers tool for Proof Slide Shows to send Clients for photo selections.These Shows should not be "Fast Speed" or with "Demanding Transistions". The capture module will fail if trying to capture speed and transitions. The PTE Show can be Sync or Manual ... Manual is advised to insure Clients dont get into trouble and have ample time to review and make photo selections. Proof Slide Shows are not meant for entertainment ... as the Client needs time and clear thought to properly make selections and decisions.

Basic PTE Proof Show setup hints :

-800x600 average compression jpg images

-Non Sync

-No music

-Manual Advance Nav Bar or just Hot Keys

-No Tranistions

-Add Image Names to slides using set comments to all slides

*Proof Shows are generally simple and basic and not for Client entertainment.

Dont supply massive amounts of Images to be selected/reviewed ... it will only frustrate your Clients decisions, Distribute multiple batches one at a time if you have alot.(Its easier on them and you).

If you supply high quality/resolution images ... your Client wont have need to purchase any from you !

1-ScreenPrintsSE.exe - None Required

ScreenPrintsSE.exe works self contained. It only copies what you ask of it to C:\Client folder. The Client folder content is what you distribute. (ScreenPrintsSE.exe provides no function to Client and is not  part of their content.)

2-ScreenPrints.exe - None Required

ScreenPrints.exe is for the Client and just requires the created files from the Client Packager to remain relative/together.

It only copies what your Client selects/saves to C:\ScreenPrints folder.The ScreenPrints folder content is what your Client sends back to you (ScreenPrintsSE.exe provides no function to Client and is not part of their content.)

This Utility does not install any Sys files or create any Registry entries. To completely remove this program ... just delete the ScreenPrintsSE.exe. and the ReadMe.txt and the zip file it came in. (You and your Client will have to remove any created/saved files in folders C:\Client or in C:\ScreenPrints.)
