The WAS of 2009, was the first to be held with a full complement of animals since the last Foot & Mouth epidemic. I've tried to engender the atmosphere found at a typical English country show with the sights & sounds. I found a voice over script that I had written to go along with the original version but hadn't recorded, so I've included it, however, I must have been tired when I did it as I sound under par. It's a long show compared to my current work, however I have been able to keep below my 50MB uplaod/download criteria. At the time of the show I was in my Canon DSLR phase, & the lens used only arrived 1/2 an hour before we left for the show, so I had no practice time.

Mechanics. 45MB Mediafire download, 11m 40s run time,105 slides, 16-9 aspect ratio, slide size fixed at 1920x1080. 5 music tracks, 8 sound effects, 1 VO. Comments taking into account what I've already said, welcome.

? Did I say German? or was it foreign? can't remember, but don't want to drag that out.

Just checked, and it was foreign, are you stirring the pot.

Eric,

Now come on. Would I ever stir the pot. Well it's just that.....

'Recently the term "Eric" has become popular amongst British troops,

originating from an episode of the British TV comedy Auf Wiedersehen, Pet,

in which the name "Eric" was used instead of "Jerry" in an attempt to confuse some Germans who were fluent in English'.

All this international adopt a foreign language thing has been thrust upon us, along with brotherly love and planet alignments.

As a non PC type it is difficult to take it all in at once.

I have to be very carefull,so I went down and asked a friend who owns a shop that sells toys and models.

He convinced me to buy a scale replica model of a B17. Said it was the best thing to come out of Germany.

I hope I did the right thing.

Ordered up a boxset of 'Allo Allo' as well. You just never know if it will come in handy.

I would hate to be labelled a non PC type.

I love those Germans as much as anybody.

Eric,

Downloaded and watched.

The 16:9 treatment worked well and It moved along at a good pace.

The sound effects added to the show as well.

I do like the steam engines and the old cars and bikes.

Well done with this AV.

Thanks both, I was a bit doubtful putting it onto the forum as it wasn't one of my best & I think the original was better. However, tempus fugit, or whatever, I have coverted 4 others that haven't been posted on here but I'm running out of material. I wanted to convert the WAS 2007, which was the first big show I made but unfortunately the originals are proving hard to find, my last resort is my Sony 5 year old LT so I will try that tomorrow. I'm in the middle of our Anglesey trip in 2010, will look again when that's finished.

Hi Ken 2007 or 2009?, both versions are on Mediafire, I have the project files of both with all the picture & sound data but the original rawpictures of the 2007 show are proving illusive. I don't want to stretch the 4-3 cropped images to suit 16-9. Unfortunately in 2007 I wasn't as careful preserving the original raw files as in later years.

guess i did not get the 2007 -- not in my stash on mediafire

you could try doing screen shots of the exe and save as 100% -- nothing ventured nothing gained - your high quality shows might be ok

Hi Ken in those days I cropped at 1024x768 & saved about level 5, It isn't worth the effort trying to convert those. However there is still one place to look.
