Bellerby Open Gardens & Scarecrow Competition 2008

Bellerby is a small village straddled across the main road from Leyburn where we lived, to Richmond North Yorkshire. Every year the village holds an "Open Gardens" weekend, supplimented by a Scarecrow competition. In 2008 we visited, luckily the weather was fine. The event is to raise money for the up-keep of the village hall. At the end of the tour you are invited to the hall for a cream tea.
