Scraping the barrel now chaps. Cumbria is one of the wettest counties in the UK (no hosepipe ban there) & houses an area called the lakes. Unfortunately, the weekend we visited, the weather was wet to say the least. Don't get me wrong, the weather can be good as seen in the shows produced by Lakelandlass. The best spot on the trip was the small port of Maryport, parts of which are very photogenic. Most of the lakes pics should be scrapped but have been included as per the original.

Mechanics. Mediafire 15MB download, 33 slides, 3m 33s run time,16-9 aspect ratio, 1920x1080 pixels fixed, 1 music track, keyboard enabled, camera & lens Nikon D200 18-200. Thanks to the poster of the Slit/Split Market show for the titles idea, quite neat IMO.

Thanks Ken

While viewing a TV programme about wolves in the NW USA I remembered I have some other better lakes pics, must have taken then at a different time as I haven't found them yet, I will re-do the show if I find them.

TV viewing last night was rubbish so I had a good look through my files & found the missing pictures, they were taken during the same trip but at the time I had my camera set to create a new folder each time I switched it off, they were in another un named folder. There are a couple of Maryport & the rest of the Lake District. A set of 3 look particularly boring but were taken of Lake Coniston where Donald Campbell lost his life trying to break the world water speed record, so I've included them. There are also a couple the don't look straight, I can assure you they are. They were taken on the Honister Pass, which if you have driven over it, will have experience the dramatic changes in road camber.

Mechanical difference from original. Mediafire 20MB download, 48 slides, 4m 47 seconds run time. http://www.mediafire.com/?erp5kwa4rte48ot

Hi Ken

Think I've sussed it now, after I posted the first link I ran it again & found a stutter in one of the pans so I corrected it, made another Exe then went to bed. This morning I found the extra slides added them & edited the sound track & made a third Exe. When you flagged the duplication I deleted the first exe & uploaded the third exe but posted the 2nd exe link. I've now deleted the lot from Mediafire, re-loaded the 3rd exe & this should be the link http://www.mediafire.com/?erp5kwa4rte48ot

If you're confused how do you think I feel  hopefully third time does it. Apologies again to everyone who downloaded the wrong link.

PS I will be uploading a new WW2 converted show later, I won't say it's the last as I keep turning up lost pictures.

Ken has the latest one got a picture of a launch in the distance on a lake, & a view of a lawn with a lake beyond, does it run for 4.47 m, is it 20MB, if all the answers are yes, you must have never had the first one.

Hi Eric,

Liked your Lake District photos - impossible not to like the Lake District regardless of weather. I wonder if you could have ramped up the skies a bit to make them even more "moody". Are you going back to the Lakes? You are a bit nearer than me and we must not let Maureen have the monopoly of the area, great though her photos are.

Hi Mick

Thanks for looking. I did colour up the skies with NX2 to try to make them less moody but they were coming out violet. We did try to go back a couple of years ago when we stayed in Barrow, but again the weather beat us & we ended up staying in the hotel most of the time. I've just booked 2 nights at a hotel in Salford Quays of all places, but it looks as if there are some fantastic photo op's, Imperial War Museum, the Lowry & Media City. There is a trip by ferry from Liverpool & up the Ship Canal but you only get 2 hours stop over.

I don't know how you are downloading separate versions, I supposedly deleted all but the last version. I've just checked the link again & it's http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?erp5kwa4rte48ot as per my lasts posts & edits. They all have the viaduct as the last shot, Only the correct one has a picture of a lake with a motor launch in the distance, and two views of Maryport from high level looking out to sea, in the distance you can just see the Galloway coast of Scotland. The download is titled "Definately A Wet Week End in Cumbria"
