Barry Beckham Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 IgorI find with the work I do, that very often I forget to tick that tiny box in the Project Options >Music tab that says Do not interrupt sound comments when the next slide appearsEvery time I do go back in to tick the box, a question comes to mind. When would anyone want a sound comment cut off ubruptly when the next slide appears anyway. Be that a sound effect, bit of music or commentary. Can I ask you to consider either having it ticked by default or do away with it altogether. It must be a source of frustration for some users. Quote
davegee Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Another item for Igor's proposed PREFERENCES?DG Quote
xahu34 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 I would regard Sound comments as an outdated feature that (as I hope) we do not need any longer when the new audio interface (multiple audio tracks with an appropriate graphical interface) will be there Regards,Xaver Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 But does that apply to users of Audacity who don't use PTE's audio editing??? Yachtsman1. Quote

Yachtsman1.If that refers to my post: A new audio interface should provide the same functionality as we have it today. Thus, a soundtrack that has been produced (compiled and mixed) in an external audio editor like Audacity will be fine.Regards,Xaver Quote
