PTE Version

An answer to a pevious question prompted me to check which ver. of PTE7 I was using.

As my ver only referred to PTE7 I downloaded ver7.0.6

There is no ref to this change does the 7.0.6 numeration not appear or has my download not loaded properly.

Click help on the info bar, scroll down to "About PTE" you will see the attached screen shot.

when you download a new version, i believe it gives you the option to place a shortcut on the desktop -- rename that shortcut as to the version you just downloaded -a right mouse function -this is common windows protocol as to renaming - help about etc

you best go to a bookstore and buy a book on windows/mac operation and study before you make a mistake and lose a show that took you many days to create

Rename the Download each time using underscores instead of dots.

e.g. picturestoexe-setup_7_0_6.exe

Snapcam,

The PTE Main window title bar doesn't change from 7.0. However, as Yachtsman1 has pointed out, the full version details can be found by doing Help|About PTE from the command bar of the main window.

It is difficult to give an answer, as I do not really know him. Maybe it's true to some extent. Isn't it better to be related to Davy that to particular other members?

I understand what you are saying but with all previous ver's the d/top shortcut and the ver. no. always appeared automatically but not this time.
