coopernatural Posted July 16, 2012 Author Report Posted July 16, 2012 Ken,Some weird and wonderful creations.Lots of $$$ involved,I would think.Allsorts at that gig, including the Grannies and Grandpas.Lin,It's probably at the stage where it's too big.Still,it would be cool to see it.Thanks,Davy Quote
snapcam Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Excuse my ignorance Davy, but I had to Google The Burning Man Festival ,Fascinating.Really enjoyed your 'Watching the Watchers' it is so different from the normally expected.A really inovative mixing of video and still.I had to watch it twice to take in what I was seeing in video and the pan.Is the pan using a stiched panorama,I would have watched it twice anyway.Snapcam Quote
coopernatural Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 Snapcam,This was just experimenting with downloaded video and panned image (yes it was stitched).Video draws attention,so I reduced its opacity.Glad it worked for you and that you watched it twice. Davy Quote
morturn Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 DavyWell that was unusual, and interesting; I quite like these shows where we push the boundaries out in to new places.I think that worked rather well, thanks for sharing it with us. Quote
coopernatural Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 Mortum,This was an interesting exercise.A bit removed from the norm, but I don't mind that. Thanks for watching and your comments.Davy Quote
xahu34 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 While watching the watching of the watchers, I had some trouble to decide what to watch Regards,Xaver Quote
colin hill Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Davy,That was a cool presentation. I think turning the opacity of the video down, worked well. The slow panning enabled the viewer to watch the videoand at the same time not lose what was going on in the crowd.Well done, thanks,Colin Quote
Delicate Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Really nice job Davy! And lot of interesting cool people...Jan Quote
