Chan
I have been using P2E for over a year to produce slide shows of wedding photos for my wedding clients. I add music tracts and title slides. I was drawn to P2E because I can protect myself from having the images on the disk copied by my clients. I am now buying a DVD burner and wish to create my slide shows in DVD so that the clients will not be limited to their PC for viewing, but I still want the copy protection I have with the exe files on CD. Will P2E allow me to do this? Will the new Beta version allow me to do this? What is the process and how do I burn the DVD?

Chan
I have been trying to burn a DVD slide show today with no results (or bad results). I used a previous project that I have burned as a CD slide show before. This time I created a vidio file. I burned it to a DVD using Roxio Easy CD and DVD creater. When I play it back from disc on the computer, I get a good music sound tract, but no vedio. I will not load on my DVD player conected to my TV. Where am I going wrong? LumenLux
Chan, it sounds like you may be trying to burn the avi without keeping the PTE program open. You must create the avi and leave the avi screen of PTE open while you use whatever editor/burner software. If you read all the posts in this video section of PTE forum, you will find the specific instructions that likely will get you over the hump. Chan
I did leave the PTE open as instructed. I did not click on finish until after the DVD was burned. Perhaps I missed a step in the burn. I used Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creater. Do I need to go to the Create A DVD portion of Roxio, or can I use the Creater Clasic portion of the program? LumenLux
I don't think you can do it with Classic portion. Classic simply does the equivalent of a save of the avi file. The Roxio DVD Creator should be able to handle it as you import the avi and process it into form for the actual DVD version.
Ken Cox
Chan you have to use the dvd creator portion of Roxioken
Chan
Thanks. I found that to be the solution. I have now been successful in burning two DVD's. I had failed to realise that P2E does not create a DVD program, only a video file that can be loaded into DVD creation software.
