Guest Yachtsman1 Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 You might be wondering what happened to part 2 (Mick)? Unfortunately due to going overboard with the video content it came out over Mediafires upload limit (Digressing I noticed that there is now a notice on my account saying my upload limit is 50GB total) , may give it a try on Youtube but that turns passable files mediocre. This is the same format as 1 & 2, continuing Mary & Jeff's progress around the Golden Ring as it's known or the Rivers of the Tsars. Used around 5 images from the original, a video clip & of course the voice over.MechanicsMediafire 84MB download, 9M 35S run time, 53 slides mainly from Flickr & Google, 5 video clips, 2 from the DVD & 3 from Youtube, one of which was split into 3 bits using PTE, 5 audio tracks, 1 split into 4 using Audacity, couple of audio tracks stripped from video tracks using Audacity. That's about it, some of the slides are dodgy, but for that part of the world a little thin on the ground.Compiled with PTE7.07 & Audacity (current)Yachtsman 1.BTW, I think I've discovered why the video clips stripped from the DVD looked as if they were in a black box, I believe the guy who made the DVD used software that enabled him to put a black or coloured background under the clip. More investigation needed.link removed by author, PM me if you want the link. Quote
