paul@pnetfit.com
I'm using Ver. 7.5 on a x64bit Windows 7 PC.For hardware, I'm using an i7 quad core with 8Gb RAM and a 1Tb hard drive that's about 60% full. The slide show is over a thousand images and at 7 secs per .jpg takes about 3.5 hours to run.It seems to run fine in preview mode. The generated .exe file is about 4.5Gb in size.My problem is that the executable will not launch. The operating system gives me the message "not a valid win32 application".I've tried building the executable on my Winows 7 laptop with the same results.Any troubleshooting hints? Thanks. fh1805
I have this feeling that 32-bit application files are limited to about 2GB in size - but I may be wrong. PTE is a 32-bit application - not a 64-bit application. You may need to break your mammoth sequence down into sections and chain them to play one after the other.regards,Peter
paul@pnetfit.com
That makes sense. It's for a cycling club AGM tomorrow night, so I think I'll stick with preview mode for now <grin>.Thanks for the quick response, paul price
davegee
That is still a very large file even for 1000 images! are they full size images or have they been resized? You should be able to get that down to 500-600 Mb by batch resizing (overnight!!).DG
