Botanic Rd Childrens' Christmas Carols.

On short notice we found out about last nights' celebrations, so totally unprepared we left here at 6.20pm to walk the 100 yards to Botanic Road, which leads to Botanic Gardens in Churchtown, which is a suburb of Southport where we live, geography over. Apparantly there is a childrens' carol service in Botanic road each year, we didn't know last year. The road is closed off to traffic, all the shops stay open and there is a hog roast, mulled wine & mince pies etc. So under really adverse conditions including rampaging children we managed to get some pictures which I have put into this show.

Mechanics. 73MB Mediafire download, 4m 50s run time 5 video clips, 46 slides, 6 sound tracks & a couple of sound effects.

16-9 aspect ratio, slide size fixed. I know it isn't perfect, but I have broad shoulders & can take any comments. ;)/>/>

Hi Eric,

It looks like you had a very good time - and no rain thank goodness. I thought you put the show together very well and the candid nature of the photography helped to convey the essence of the evening and yes the video clips worked well as did the sound effects.

I've created an IPad/IPod version of this show & posted it on Youtube. the original Exe was 75MB, the MP4 250MB & the Ipod/IPad version 100MB. Just watched it via the link, the transitions were not as good as the exe, there was more digital noise & the scrolling text was jerky, however I haven't been able to get the scrolling text right since the mipmapping function was automated. I'll see what my Daughter says when she sees it.
