Heres the Steps I took and Failed to get Ulead to Recognise The File created in PTE....

1. I added photos in PTE, then clicked the VIDEO button.

2. I then Chose 'Dvd Video Disc', clicked the CREATE AVI button.(For Ulead Dvd Factory2 was ticked)

3. I Saved to a 'Folder' I created.

4. The 'Create of AVI File Encoding' takes its Action...

5. I then OPENED Ulead Moviefactory2.

6. Selected 'Dvd' and then 'Existing Folder' to allow me to Browse for my Folder.

7. I Opened the Folder but....NOTHING THERE?????? :(

Whats Happening Guys!

When I opened the Folder in 'Windows' the File was there! But Ulead Cant recognise it.

Now What?

Right, I just tried 'Roxio Easy Cd/Dvd Creator6' and it recognises the File created in PTE no problem. So, why wont it work in the Advised Software - Ulead Dvd MovieFactory2????

I just burnt the Slideshow in Easy Creator, but am not happy as there is small artifects appearing-shimmering aswell. So, I created a 'New'Slideshow with same photos in Ulead Moviefactory2 and did a Burn, guess what? The Burn was Perfect,I can see now why Ulead is recommended with PTE. But I still cant get the 'AVI File' to OPEN in 'Ulead'?????

How come others get the AVI Files to OPEN in 'ULEAD' & others Cant??? <_<

OK!

All sorted now, Ulead & PTE working together quite happy!

Only way I could get it to work was by Opening Ulead then....

1...(Start project page) Tick 'NEW' highlite 'Dvd'....

(at this point I was ticking 'existing project' to browse to my slideshow folder).

2...(Next Interface)..You need to 'Add Video', and not 'Add Slideshow'. Due to the AVI being created. You look for the AVI file PTE created in the browser window. Ulead should now recognise the AVI file, from here in should be straight forward.

Thanks to everyone who looked at this 'POST' and couldnt help! :P

(I am now burning DVDS a treat) :D:D
