goddi
Greetings,I have been 'volunteered' to give a presentation on how PTE works to my photo club next year. I have been searching for a YouTube-like video that will go through the basics of what PTE can do. I have seen a Part 1 and Part 2 YouTube video for Version 6.5 that is pretty nice. But I am wondering if there is, or will be, one for 7.5. I know there are many tutorials on individual how-to's but I'd like one that is an overall demo to give the audience a good overview of PTE 7.5.Is there one out there yet????Thanks... davegee
Gary,To do it all in one video would be quite a task.It depends on the level that you are pitching it.Beginners, Medium, Advanced workers etc.Split it into broad categories and go as far as you think they can take in each category? If you were to try to show new users how to use 3D animation for instance to create a football you might get into difficulties :rolleyes:/>.DG

I don't think I could put one together with such precision, so I was hoping to find something like the Part 1 and 2 above, but for 7.5. I just want to get our photo club interested in creating 'photo essays' and get beyond the competitions, etc., that we normally do.Gary
Barry Beckham
GaryI think I have what your looking for as large screen videos. Its a disk I have made about 4 or 5 times now over the years called PicturesToExe Starter Its presently up to date for PTE 7. Take a look at this page and you can download the intro video. That will give you an idea of the video size, along with sound and visual quality. You can go directly to the Pdf contents HEREFor a demo like this you need to keep things basic and simple or you can easily frighten people off if you make things too complex. So, you could use just the sections you want from this disk to add to your talk.If this is something that would help, please email me your address and I will send a disk to you. All I ask in return is a small plug to your members about who created the disk and our web address.
