JudyKay
Seems like this has been discussed, but is there a way to permanently prevent that nasty Windows 8 warning dialog box when opening P2E executables?
Igor
Judy,Please click "More info" link on the SmartScreen. Then you will able to run a slideshow. This situation occurs if you download EXE show from Internet in Windows 8. If you run EXE from USB drive - no problem. Or create EXE and run on same PC - no warnings. In version 7.5 we suggest a new output option "Safe executable file for Internet". The EXE comes with a digital signature of WnSoft and SmartScreen warning does not appear.
JudyKay
Thank you both very much.Igor:I had missed the "Safe executable file for Internet" option. Thanks for reminding me. By the way, I LOVE Pictures2Exe! Thanks for an amazing, quality product. I still think that one day soon it will get "discovered" and take the world by storm.Tom:I should probably disable SmartScreen, but like airport security, we sometimes endure the hassle of the dubious protection someone else decides for us. jk
