Guest Yachtsman1 Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 After learing how to use the basics of Camtasia, it became obvious my Olmpus recorder/mike was not ideal when making on screen recordings with a voice over. I bought a cheepo USB stick mike from Amazon, which was even worse. So after a brief search following a reminder about Logitech from Stonemason, I sent the cheepo back & ordered a Logitech H360 combination headset. My first reactions, what a great piece of kit for £20 including post. The attached video is the out of box test. I haven't edited or doctored it in anyway, it's just as Camtasia recorded it, judge for yourself.Yachtsman1. Quote

I've spent the last 3 hours trying to make a tutorial using the headset, the Camtasia recordings rejected the Audacity demos so I went onto the internet to find the manual, no such thing, eventually I deduced I had to change the preferences in Audacity from my speakers to the MS system. Just finished the recording after the 4th attempt, went to throw the packaging away & what I thought was packing was the b****y manual. The short answer it's an H360. & I still love it.Regards EricYachtsman1. Quote

(for non Lancashire/ English speakers, a brick closet is slang for cast iron.) :P/> Regards EricYachtsman1. Quote
