alantha Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 G'day all. I'm new to P2E, so this may already have been answered! Are the fonts (I use in objects) embedded in the resultant EXE file, or dothey have to be resident on the system that runs the EXE?Thanks for your advice. Alan. Quote
alrobin Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Hi, Alan,Welcome! No, the fonts must be resident on the viewer's system. So, if you want to use a really obscure font, you are best to add the text in your image editor if you want other viewers to see it as you have designed it. Quote
Walter Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Hello Alrobin, question to you:What do you exactly mean, when you say "image editor"? A normal slide (or picture) showing text with the font, one wants to use, as I suppose? I don't recognise another "image" editor in PTE. Am I right?Walter Quote
alrobin Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Hi, Walter,By "image editor" I was referring to an external program such as Photoshop or Photo Paint, etc. You're right, there is no image editor in PTE. Quote
