Early May on the windswept and rain lashed Hebridean Islands, off the west coast of Scotland. There are two main groups, the Outer and Inner Hebrides.

This visit covered some of the Outer islands before finishing on the Inner Hebridean island of Skye.

Great show and wonderful images from the Hebrides

How did you get around on the Islands?? I understand you took the ferry to get to the islands, but did you walk (a lot) to get the images ?

Thanks, Jim. No, we didn't walk. We had taken the car over and whilst it had been our intention to do SOME walking, we had some pretty wild and wet weather so staying dry seemed the better option.

Jim - an afterthought! We actually did a couple of SHORT walks on Skye, one on the Quirang and another from Slighachan Bridge into the Cuillin, but no walking in the Outer Hebrides.
