Original Exif Time

I have a question to the function "text comment" in the defaults of the "Project options".

If I insert template "<%MainImg.Exif.Time%>", then the time of the last change (last time I saved the file).

But I need the Original time of taking the pictures.

Can someone tell me the correct code?

"%MainImg.Exif.TimeOriginal%" or "%MainImg.Exif.OriginalTime%" produces no correct result.

This question came up a while ago and, if I remember correctly, Igor said that PTE only recognised the presets offered by the Project Options.

Maybe someone else knows different?

We need to petition Igor to provide more options??

i feel this subject should moved -- the exif subject has been an "iffie" since day one.

unless i t gets a sure fire answer - maybe another moderator will move it to "ideas" section

it is a valid request IMHO as someone who uses exif data all the time

Hi Adda,

You can't modify the codes in the preset templates to change calls to exif information. This must be done by the developers. I'll move this to "Ideas" because, as Ken says, it's been discussed and needs to be considered by Igor for inclusion in a later version of PTE.
