jerome123 Posted February 14, 2004 Report Posted February 14, 2004 Okay... this may have been covered already in previous posts, but this problem is driving me around the bend.I have created a presentation with the newest version of PTE and I want to make it into an .avi file to burn onto a CD ROM.I have followed all of the instructions - click Video, then SCVD disc, making sure it is in NTSC format. I've previewed the file before creating it and it looks great. The pics show and music plays... However, I click Create AVI, and BEFORE clicking finish, I burn the resulting file onto a CD.The file that remains on the CD plays the program I created - BUT WITH NO PICTURES!!!I have music within the slideshow, which plays no problem, but none of my images appear...ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY, VERY APPRECIATED!!! alrobin Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Hi, Jerome,Welcome to PTE and the Forum!Several others have experienced the same thing. The "avi" file created by PTE is not intended to be used as a playable video file - only as an intermediate stage towards creation of a VCD or DVD in order to play your slide show on a TV screen. If your intention is to create a slide show for use on a PC, simply save the completed show by choosing "File / Create slideshow as" from the top left of the main window. This file can then be burned onto a CD for playback on a pc monitor. If you have further questions regarding video or DVD production, then perhaps someone on the other forum can help if you post a message there. Best of luck! Quote
