3D rotation problem

Created in 7.5.10. Probably something I am doing wrong and a not a PTE error.

When I try to add child shadow rectangle to parent image rotating in 3D there is a white line in during the middle of rotation. It's hard to explain but I think the slideshow and screen capture will explain. Happens in both vertical and horizontal directions. Obvious in the horizontal rotation (slide 4).

I want to create a set of transitions based on basic origami folding but I need to solve this problem first.

I ran Tom's example with a solid red shadow. The white line shows up and in addition, the shadow's edge shows stairs, although antialiasing is ticked.

I'm afraid we can't quickly solve it - it's caused by antialiasing of image and rectangle objects.
