Okay... this may have been covered already in previous posts, but this problem is driving me around the bend.

I have created a presentation with the newest version of PTE and I want to make it into an .avi file to burn onto a CD ROM.

I have followed all of the instructions - click Video, then SCVD disc, making sure it is in NTSC format. I've previewed the file before creating it and it looks great. The pics show and music plays...

However, I click Create AVI, and BEFORE clicking finish, I burn the resulting file onto a CD.

The file that remains on the CD plays the program I created - BUT WITH NO PICTURES!!!

I have music within the slideshow, which plays no problem, but none of my images appear...

ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY, VERY APPRECIATED!!!

Hello,

It sounds to me as if you are not using a program to convert the AVI file that

PTE makes to SVCD. NERO, Roxio, Pinnacle. are just a few of the programs

I have seen people Post about using. The file that PTE Creates needs to be converted

if you want it to play on a DVD player. It will also need to be converted if you want to

Play the Video from a CD or another computer. You can convert the Temp AVI file with

anogher program to (Mpeg, WMV, AVI). Or you could use the "Full Frame Uncompressed" Codec.

But creating this AVI file will take a Long time And a Large Hard Drive.

If you search the "How to Create a Video" section

http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index....php?act=SF&f=4

you may find more answers.

If you post your Video Questions is that area you might get better answers.

Hope this helps gets you started
