Hi all.

What are the current setting recommendations for preparing a project for HDTV viewing from a memory stick ?

Posted

Project Options:

16:9; 1920x1080.

Output Options:

Go with the default settings offered by PTE. It works!!

HD Video; 1920x1080; High Quality.

Pan and Scan Enabled.

You do not need to do anything else.

Transfer to Memory Key and it's done.

I have a 16Gb Key almost full of shows done that way and all are perfect.

You cannot be sure, you always should have a look at the TV's manual, and see which Video and Audio Codecs, and which Container Formats are to be chosen.

I can vouch for Sony and Samsung and I think that there has never been anyone here for whom it would not work on their HD TV with Media Player.

I also use mine with a Sony BR Player with HDMI connection to HDTV.
