trailertrash Posted August 22, 2013 Report Posted August 22, 2013 This year marks our 40th anniversary and 10th visit to the Tattoo. We should have been spending this fortnight in Washington DC/New York, but Jane's heart problems have raised their ugly head again. The tattoo was superb however [ as usual ] and this year I added some video. Its a 222meg download, so no small file. I hope you find it worth it.Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Quote

Lin Evans Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 Hi Andrew, I can't figure this one out - I downloaded it from Beechbrook and tried both PK Zip and 7-Zip and neither would open the file. I don't know if something on my end is corrupting it or what's going on. I can open all the other zip files fine so it must be getting somehow corrupted in the download. Here is the size of the .rar file per Windows:177 MB (185,880,637 bytes)Best regards,LinI don't know if it makes any difference but its a .rar file. Lin Evans Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 Hi Andrew - Fifth download was the charm .... worked perfectly with both PKZip and 7-Zip !!! Great job - what an extravaganza! I loved the little gals in "kilts" - that was cute. Were the Indios Aztec? Amazing how this has grown from "closing the beer tap" in the old days..... Loved it - everything works!Best regards,Lin Quote
trailertrash Posted August 23, 2013 Author Report Posted August 23, 2013 Lin, the Indians were Mexican. Part of the Mexican Military band. The Girls in the Kilts are the New Zealand [ 8 times ] and Current World Marching Drill Team Champions. Quote
